"During times of isolation like this, connection and collaboration is essential. The art world thrives when great minds meet, clash, and discuss. This workshop has provided the opportunity to connect and create in community safely. Moreover, I have been able to experiment with making- blurring and redefining what drawing entails to me, how the materiality of objects interjects with their execution. The concept of art and its afterlives was also extremely significant, allowing us to experience our own pieces as an audience instead of as an artist through their manipulation."
