SARAH MOORE

‘As I work in stone and clay, I expect what I to make to last - so it is refreshing to make something that may only last a few days or weeks. It has changed my mindset about permanency.

If all art were fugitive and never restored there would always be a market for art, and the money and effort spent on restoration could be spent on new work. We need built-in obsolescence for art so it could be renewed periodically like a piece of furniture or a washing machine.'
