‘The opportunity to create images using limited resources was both challenging and liberating in equal measure. The challenge resulted from relinquishing a degree of control over the materials, whilst the sense of liberation arose from being freed from a brief or preconceived intention. Limitations resulted in various discoveries; discoveries about materials, methods and also myself as a maker.'
