"Sketches to me are working pieces that become more exhausted than complete, and when ideas are spent – so too is the sketch. This workshop challenged these ideas, as the need for empathy and trust within collaborative partners forces creative decisions that would not have been considered previously. Being gifted a finished piece created with such deliberation, and the integrity established in our personal discoveries, directed my response to be sympathetic, equally honest and searching."
